YES. that is the short answer and all that was required. any model/year will exchange for any other regardless of model change or designation. that goes for all the other states (bar Cali) and every other country worldwide. why complicate a simple answer with a pages of text for the same answer.
As everyone has already mentioned, all of the years are interchangeable, so I won't add to that.
What I will add, which is something that was lightly touched upon, is the 50 state (California C.A.R.B. compliant) fuel tanks. Those have two tubes extending from the underside of the tank near the upper right corner. All other fuel tanks lack those tubes. If you have a 50 state bike with the fuel evaporative (evap) emissions still intact, you'll need to make sure your new tank has the tubes on the underside. If your bike has had the evap stuff removed, or never had it at all (eg. non-California or another country aside from the US), then it doesn't really matter either way. If you find yourself with a 50-state tank in this instance, simply plug the lower hose and leave the upper one open.
