Got an 09 EX500 this past spring and i love it. I dont feel the need to modify anything except the headlight. Does anyone know of anyone who still sells an aftermarket headlight assembly? Something more modern, or just anything different?

Sadly, you are pretty much stuck with it - unless you want to fab up a bracket with, say, two projector beam lights and inset them into a metal, ABS or fiberglass panel that matches the front contour of the fairing. You could technically use any LED light from a modern sport or ADV bike that will fit in the area you have, then fab a clear lexan or plexiglass cover that matches the fairing contour. Many guys go the streetfighter look and I rarely see one that has much eye appeal. Here, for example is a light from a ZX6C 1991.

The advantage is twin beams. But, how to fit it?

Virtually all modern headlights are contoured to fit sharp nosed fairings. The EXs are pretty flat by comparison. With a heat gun, you could form a flat sheet of clear lexan to fit the opening, then basically put whatever fits behind it. "I" would probably go with 2 or 3 projector hedlights with LED bulbs.
