Or not starting or running rough or not idleing, and a few more symptoms.

I've labled the cure for this as #1 because it is.
If you are not sure that you have just recentlly seen light through your pilot jets, don't waste you time (and mine) with anything else, plugs, etc. it wil not get better till you have removed them and cleaned them.

This is not to say that the pilots are responsiable for everything ,but 99.99999999% on the time engine running maladies involve one or more blocked Pilot passages.

Bahahaha... I saw the thread title and thought FOG had been attacked by one-cylinder running...

Its worth it to point out that other issues such as vacuum leak, stuck float valves, can cause problems. That would be addressed by taking apart the carbs to clean the pilot circuit anyways.

LMAO I had to look I could not believe my eyes, i thought "FOG" had a problem he could not fix. YA that would be the day I wheelie my Ex500 10 Miles strait. an I know that is not going to happen, simply because it will be holding my my oil to my en gin. ;D

But good point "FOG".

Ya also check your plug wires.....LOL. ;)
