Hi guys

I recently got a Kawi Ex500, and I found it idles pretty high at 3500RPM. My friend helped me out to adjust the idle speed screw, and we turned it in correct direction all the way to the end, and it still rev at 3500RPM. (when I turn it the other way, it revs higher than 3500rpm.

Sometimes when I ride, and at the stop, the idle rev will drop to around 1200 or 1300 rpm. I continue to ride, then next time I stop, it revs back to 3500. 90% of the time, it idles at 3500rpm

this is just weird. I do not know what to do now...:(

I venture to say you did not turn the Idle (Knob) but the sync screw not you carbs are wildly out of sync. The Idle Knob is the black one in the center between the carbs facing down and rearward.

thank FOG,

I am pretty sure I am turning right knob because the guy who i got the bike from show me where knob is.

so what do I do if it's out of sync?

would it be an easy fix for the shop to do it? would it take a lot of time?
