Yeah, and quite the ride from San Diego! Is your son still in boot, or is he in the fleet now?
He's just finishing his 5th year total, 1st year of his 2nd enlistment.
He's an a gunfire trainer on Coronado Island, USMC.

aaaaaaaaaaaOOOOOOOoorraaahhhhh!! Give him my thanx for his service.
I appreciate your comment. As a squad leader & after he lost a young Marine in a rare rifle-on-rifle ambush he is not keen on getting thanks.

We were talking a week or 2 ago about a philosophy course he's taking on base. With his experiences and the access to a variety of news sources now... he is getting broader insights into the oath to protect the Constitution from all threats both foreign and domestic. Which I read as recognotion of internal profit/ideological forces that push for adventageous but slanted political decisions.

But all that's beyond the scope of this format, & certainly this topic. Sorry for the jack.

Came down to SD to attend little brothers graduation from USMC and brought him all the way home, just in time for the show! The guys in the steel ball with the dirt bikes were totally crazy. The show all in all was great, minus the fact triumph was... no where to be seen? fucking british companies. Man I was pist at them for not showing up... I wonder if they made the other show locations... Repsol girls were probably the best attation this year ;) ... yes I brough back oil from the show... I have to stop doing that! ooo footage from the ride down there will be up soon. (60 some odd miles round trip)

I highly recommend a set of custom ear plugs from W. K. Baker for $49.
Oh boy....might I ask why?
Hey Steve,
Lots of riders ride with ear plugs in order to save their hearing. If you're one of them, the Baker plugs are custom molded to fit you ear so they're very comfortable, easy to put in and eliminate unnecessary noise - you're still able to hear things like approaching cars and sirens and things of that nature but wind noise is minimalized. These guys travel around and make their plugs at shooting ranges, gun shows and of course, motorcycle shows.
