I just changed my oil with Rotella T dino, and having been noticing that sometimes during hard shifts the clutch doesn't fully engage until split second after I fully release it. I feel two separate "jolts"(for lack of a better word) of acceleration, one after I fully release the clutch and one maybe a half second later.
I just bought the bike used with 1500 miles and changed the oil at 1900 because it looked pretty dark. I also think I slightly over filled, but I didn't think it was too much to cause problems.

Could a sticky, frayed or pinched clutch cable housing cause this?
Maybe something interfering with the clutch handle or lever/shaft?

Inspect the clutch cable for dents, nicks, cuts, etc. Seems unlikely that it would need cleaned/lubed or whatever maintenance such cables get after just 1500 miles.

it may well be just a sticky cable or the lever could be sticky too. my F2 is like that sometimes. it sure couldnt hurt to lube the cable anyways, it'll prolong its life a little and make it easier to use the clutch so why not?
