Bought this bike a while back and decided while I’m in the carbs today I might as well do the fog mod…got the side cover off and found these holes in the airbox idk if they are stock or if a previous owner beat me to it.

I think it’s an attempt at a “Fog Like” mod. I think the “holes” aren’t big enough. From what I recall the holes need to be the equivalent of a round 1” diameter hole.
BUT…don’t take this as gospel. I could very well be wrong.
I think there is one guy on here who could tell us for sure…
I can’t be sure what the diameters of those holes are. But the 1” hole I used has an area of.7854 “sq.

:geek:I'm calculating the hole sizes to be 11/16", 5/8", and 7/16". Could be the camera angle making the top hole appear slightly bigger than the bottom hole.

I would be curious as to know how close I got that.😄

I think your pretty close but under basic instructions im going to guess those are approximately dumb dumber and dumbest... The hell...im not the quickest bunny in the greyhound race but....1-1 inch or 4-1/2 inch hole/holes are not overly complicated to understand...clearly the person didnt just come up with that thought out of nowhere do its just odd that they were able to fail so uniquely. But hey maybe the area of those holes come out close to FOG's spec. But even location is on the wrong surface area.
