which year is your machine ?
Is this tire going to fit?
I just found in my garage new 140/80-17 rear tire. And I was wondering if it is going to fit.

I don't think it will :-\ I have a 140/70/17 on mine , and judging from the lack of space between my tire and swingarm I don't see it having enough room .

So, does anyone know for sure if this will fit. The tires I'm looking at only come in a 140/80 and don't want to get them and have them not fit.

if it's for a 1st gen, on 16 inchers, it should fit, AntiAndy has 150/80/16 on his machine.
As for a bike with 17 inchers, usually 2nd gen, I think Lucky #13 is a reliable source

It might squeak on there.... but I wouldn't be suprised if it didn't. Either way, that's an odd size for the EX, I'd get a properly sized tire.
So I was bored yesterday and decided to try it. And as Lucky#13 said not enough room on the 2nd gen.
