·A new topic so our northern bretherin won't think we're passed out from the heat!
Rode to work Wednesday, less than 40f without frost, in jeans, jacket, winter riding gloves at 4:30 in the a.m.
Passed the same Harley guy I always pass about the time the feeling in my inner calves went away. No matter, job's just 15 minutes up the road, nothing to worry about.
Got to work as the feeling in my knees was beginning to go, again I'd have thought the outside of my legs would be the worst. No problems on the outsides, the inners were frosty for some reason.
My HJC CL-15 helmet has a visor with a anti-fog coating inside. Didn't fog up, instead it was like looking through a thin vaseline smear (temperature related distortion, if it's warm outside the coating is undetectible).
Well, the ride's doable. I have overpants, didn't feel like wearing them that day. What was really interesting came later when I rode back from an eye exam, blurry and dialated....
