VFR red is (was) the shizzle. Sold my '98 early spring at 42K miles after 12 years of reliable ownership.

Agreed the white was my first wish, but couldn't find it.
The Viffer was heavy and slow for a 750, but it could rail high speed turns, used to scare the crap out of my buds, driving around them on the outside when they though they were ear holein it. (help me here Yorkie)

Btw I was thinking about white wheels. Best paint for a 90-93 model, epsecially with red and black color <3
It is heavy, and probably slow for a 750 (for me its enough without passenger), but I don't care about top speed anyway, I rarelly ride faster than 130km/h. For me its all about acceleration, sound and stability.

not sure what help you need but I do agree it was heavy for touring bike especially if loaded it with gear. and way slower than some similar bikes at the time I had it. although it was very agile on the move. with the VFR you got the typical Honda very good at most things but not Exceptional at anything. just a solid reliable bike.
I well remember shedding some watery stuff when I sold it and the guy came to take it away. but life throws you these decisions you have to take. at the time it was all I had left to sell apart from the house so the bike had to go.
Sorry , I was referring to the spelling /pronunciation of ear oling it
my cockney is poor

ok. I see, so is mine. it's "lughole init" as in being able hear things scraping your lugholes (ears) a better term could possibly be "pegged it" or in other words done something perfectly. or "bang on the money" which is doing something better than others.
Well, at least I know what D'yer Mak'er means. 😄

If you're ever up in CA , Mulholland Highway between Kanan and Las Virgenez, Victory Jon of Highwayphotos . Net does some amazing photography. He doesnt do the prints but you can buy the full res files and they totally worth it. Makes anything you ride look A1.

I don't even know if its part of the public road btw :) but there is barelly anyone here cuz that road leads to the ex Yugoslavian president villa, Josip Broz Tito. Maybe you heard about him.

It was one of his residence with lakes, horses, restaurant, villa etc... He was here 66 times and from this village, Karadjordjevo, the present for english queen is made, horse harnesses. That was in 1972.

I was to the end of that road but the gate is closed with a warning, so I use this road for a good shots :D and some acceleration testing.

Here's a recent pic after I raised the Staintunes and fabbed some hangers from stainless marine turnbuckles. One of 223 produced in 2004. How many in the States?

@toniplavna are you finding your VFR quite reliable so far?

Yes. I won't touch anything except braking pads this year. Only thing that I found little annoying is that when its hot, it won't start from the first click. So next season I will buy starter set and change it. Also my friend is saving the whole starter for me if I need it. But thats just a small thing, I don't have any problems so far, its just me that I want everything to be perfect on a 30 years old bike :)
I'm sure you'll nail it in your time.
