as usual maverick's a nitwit and a cheapo. i thought I'd be real cool and install it my self. i even went and bought a arrow heavy duty staple gun. i followed the direction and threw it in the dryer for 5 min to prep it. i went to staple the first edge down and my staple gun didn't have Enuff a$$ to penetrate the hard plastic of the seat. i even tried different size staples. i cried like a baby to my wife who took pity on me and dropped it off at the local upholstery shop the following day. it came out perfect, cost: 30 smackers. maybe i should cry more often.might get some parts out of it! :p!!

a air staple gun would probably handle it no problem.
but I'm a cheapo...

man thats just paintful, i got the bike liek this, never dropped it, though i have had two dumb friends lay it down softly on either side

Yeh, i have checked out all the fairing, atleast it hink i got them all. there are the stock ones from kawi, that are worth like...800 bucks...bah. or you can get the ones made out of fiberglass (which is the kidnt hat i have on my bike) which i said is cracked up front, whcih a friend and i will fix up in a while.

as for windshields, i was thinking of going with the aftermarket one, its roughly the size of the stock, except it slightly curves around at the top...i saw it on ebay a while back, didnt bother commiting it to memory sicne i cant use it, lemme see if I can find it..

after looking through some in ebay, i guess i want one that looks liek a second gen windscreen, but be able to mount it on my first gen bike, i dont like the look of the first gen screens, like lame.not curvy enough.

Here's the two versions from similar angles. Looks to me like the front curvature is about the same, but that the second generation comes back farther on the top left & right sides.

You can also get your stock custom painted with whatever scheme you like...for that extra custom look.
The angle of the curve is not as important as the overall appearance. The dark tinted screeen made a world
of difference on my bike.

Mine is from Zero Gravity.

i meant the curveture of the sides coming out at the top. i dig that closed in look.
