I recently removed the gas tank cover to clean the inside of the tank… mission accomplished, but now I cannot (for the life of me) find the two screws that hold the cap to the tank shown here. Does anyone know the size so that I might be able to buy some replacement screws? I’ve looked online and nothing shows the actual size, went to Home Depot and couldn’t find the right size there either. Anyone?

I think it is the same as those 2 to the left on the latch assembly. Check to see if they will work.
BTW I have an identical screwdriver to yours. 😀

Judging by the size of the screw head and the fact that it's a Japanese bike, my 2 cent bet is that it's M4x0.7 8mm long. But I'm really not sure, I haven't removed the cap from the tank in a long time. The only sure thing is that it is a metric screw.
