I need to replace a few parts and wondered if anyone has a online source for OEM Kawi parts that they've used and liked. I looked at about a dozen, but apart from the lowest price, I don't have a good way to choose one. Any recommendations?

Thanks :)

Stealing is naughty & disrespecting fellow ex-500 owners & fans. Let's not encourage it, even in jest, eh?

What's the website for MrCycle? I didn't find it (could be I'm blind ::) ).

Thanks for the replies. Here's what I found of the sites I looked at:

Based on price, cheapest first -

1.World of Cycles (www.worldofcycles.com) based in PA

2.Ron Ayers (www.ronayers.com) based in NC

3.Mr Cycles (www.mrcycles.com) based in NC

The price difference between all three was small, about a dollar a part total(although it adds up). Because I'm in NC I went with World of Cycles(no sales tax) but they ended up having higher shipping(they don't tell you the shipping until the very end) $11.25 vs $8.00 for ronayers(tells you shipping up front) so even with tax it almost evened out. $11.25 was a little high in my book for 4 small light parts(intake ducts and springs) going ground.

One other factor is that they all have a disclaimer that all parts may not be in stock and will ship in 3-4 days. If one has a larger parts dept or is closer to the Kawi warehouse(don't know where that is), you might get your stuff much quicker.

There may be others really good sites out there, so if someone knows a better one(also West Coast) add it to the list.

Thanks :)

Talking about Shipping charges, I noticed recentlly that all the services USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, that I've used recentlly have much Higher charges that I remember. Because you don't ship the same article to the same location you don't have a refrence. It does kinda sneak up on you. I guess it's the various services keeping even with fuel costs , etc.

Like Antiandy said the best thing to do is find another EX and steal what you need.
it would be the cheapest way to go,
or bikebandit.com

i suggest you use whatever site waives the shipping after you spend X amount of dollars
(its diffrent on every site, but you know what im talkign about, its usually around 250-300)

I hate to knock anybody's business but compare Ron Ayers prices to Bike Bandit, and you'll see why they call it that.

As a young fellow I was smitten by a Edwin Newman Book "Strictly Speaking". Therein he extols the virtues of accurate speech, and decries the incorrect usage so often displayed, even in public. As an engineer I always needed to be accurate ,cosice, direct to a fault. It's amazing how many times I needed to explain my written reports because my superiors couldn't read well.
