I was looking for more of a bolt on application... me lazy But now that I am thinking about it a little bit I think it would be neat to fab something up. I'll work on it this winter.

I'd still like to see if anyone has found a "bolt-on" mod though...

As for the avatar... Thanks! This was actually one of the 1st pictures I took of my bike after buying it a week prior. I would be happy if you used it as a background! I can send you the original picture to your e-mail if you would like...

there are alot of universal; holders out there that bolt onto the gas filler trim ring. i know www.newenough.com has them as well as jcwhitney.com

when riding season comes back about im gonna see about mounting mine, ill probably just secure it up in the bottom of the windscreen or something.

Err, is it safe to assume a pig spotter is a Radar Detector? I haven't heard that term for one before?

they're low profile mirrors. why they are called pig spotters, i do not know.

I remember reading somewhere that someone was going to put the mirrors off another bike onto their 500, so try to find someone thats done that, and buy pig spotters for that bike. Other ninja's might have the same bolt pattern and such.

Sure enough, the 500 has the same mounts as the bigger ninjas so if you find spotters for the zx6,7, etc they should fit.

i guess they look sleeker than bigger mirrors, but kinda goofy lookin if you ask me...and im sure you get crap for visabilit. but to each their own

I think I've been to that guys main website before where he say they are not compatible with the ex-500, but i am sure what he meant to say is that they don't fit flush... maybe with some modifications? I think I have some fun and try to rig one up next weekend...
