Hello, new to the forum, have an 06 ex-500 with just over 350 miles on it. I just installed my V and H 2-1 system tonight.

All is well, but I'm looking for advice on jetting changes. It seems to run ok, but seems to have a flat spot from 5,000 RPM and up, so I'm guessing I need to look at changing my main jets????

Any help from the experts?!?!?!

Welcome babypumpkinhead,

Your question has been well covered in the forums.
At the upper right side of the screen there is a SEARCH box.
Enter "jetting" and work your way through the listings.
The "Modifications & Upgrades" section will be your favorite... look at the titles on each page.

There is plenty of info/help there for you.
Be sure to read sections on airbox mod & pilot jet adjustment.

Yep , all you'll need to do is adjust you pilot screws . They are located on the bottom of your carbs (covered by a plug). Turn em all the way shut . The adjust them 2.5 turns out as a starting point . Fine tune from there .

I did the exact search as recommended, got no results, I also looked through the listed section earlier today, maybe I didn't look back far enough, I'll keep looking, thanks.

Go to the engine forum.
Then enter "jetting" in the search window.
