Is $4,300 too much for a 2005 Ninja 500R in good condition, decent tires, with 8, 450 miles from a dealer?

If not my bank account will be smaller in less than 24 hrs.

Thanks in advance!

I just bougth a 2004 with 162 miles for $3400.00

I just bought a 2004 (silver) with 162 miles on it for $3400.00 The guy bought it new in 2005 and really never rode it, this bike is literally brand new. I cleaned the carbs and it was good to go.

haggle them down as far as you can if you really want it tho, no harm can come from it because you can always just walkaway.

I was just thinking that I paid $4,800 for my undriven new 2006 500R
I paid the same for mine OTD (new '06 in June).

If you can't talk him down more, I'd start looking elsewhere, you're bound to find a better deal.

We just bought my wife's 2006 with 2528 miles on the odometer for $3699 and it looks brand new. Of course the green ones are harder to sell... ::)

i payed around 3k for mine 2004 with like 3,000 miles on it, and it had a muzzy exhaust already on it. so as long as theres nothing wrong with it that i haven't noticed, that is steep

That's a steep price.
