Planning a trip from sea level to a max elevation of 10,000 feet. I guess the first question is how poorly will the EX run at 10,000 feet with stock jets?

My inclination is to rejet for around 5000 feet so it will run acceptably at both sea level and at altitude. Anyone know the recommended jets for 5000 feet?

Thanks.

it'll be fine. it'll work, it just wont have the same amount of power. you'll be running rich until you get back to <1000 ft. if you do decide to rejet, you need to go smaller, not bigger. less fuel for less air.

i agree . i bought mine in AZ (elevation 4,8xx feet) ran fine . the elevation here is between 15-500 feet above sea level and she only runs a tiny bit stronger.
