Located a problem that a NY biker had when taking his bike in for recall work:
http://www.sportbikes.net/forums/showthread.php?t=335366

The recalls apparently are/were for:
" 1. TPS - lift gas tank, remove (a) Airbox (b) Throttlebodies, replace TPS & put back together
2. Sprocket nut - remove front sprocket cover, replace nut, replace cover"

Some recall sites I Googled:
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/recallsearch.cfm
http://motorcycles.about.com/cs/motorcyclenews/l/blmotorecalls.htm

This is not an issue with the EX500.

The thread from SBN (god i hate that place) is about the Yamaha FZ6 ONLY.

Good links, WRONG MACHINE.[/color]
What's with those guys? I had clicked on the EX500 section & that was one of the topics.

Maybe the Recall websites will help folks w/ other vehicles.

(The "centered" script you used is a new look. Like it.)
