Hey my names Edward and I'm dying to hit up the canyons with anyone. Hit me up on MSN/Live messenger at [email protected]. I'm in sandy, Utah so anytime anywhere I'm usually ready to ride.

Word. I'm Ben and I live downtown. There are a couple of us Salt-Lakers kicking around, I've ridden with MBD09 (from the other SLC thread) and had a great time, and I'm trying to work something out with pcdarks from Park City. I work in Draper during the week and would love to hit something up after work some day, or else a weekend ride works too. Let's get some miles in before it cools off man!
I am still around, Just trying to come up with enough $$$ for new sprocket and chain.

Until then the bike is collecting dust. Soon as i have them i am up for a ride anytime.

We all need to hit up Nebo loop!! one of my favorites. or fairview canyon if you are up for a long one.
I've been meaning to get hold of you and get something together, Mike. I've been doing graves weekends and sleeping most of the day, I keep intending to get my ass out of bed and get some riding done but apparently I'm not motivated. I actually saw there's a black ex on KSL from Taylorsville, I got worried you were selling!

Keep us posted on your chain situation, we definitely need to do some serious canyoning before the snow falls.
I should be ordering the needed parts soon (hopefully). You got a chain rivet/break tool? really dont want to have to buy one since i can barely get the $ for the chain itself.
I don't...I broke the stock chain with an angle grinder and just kept the clip master that came with the new chain (dabbed on some JB weld for the hell of it)

But if your new chain comes with a clip and you want to upgrade to a rivet, as long as you buy the rivet master at a shop not totally run by douchebags, I imagine they'll take the 30 seconds to press it on for you.
Hey names Kolby i'd be down for a ride anytime but uh i recently wrecked up big cottonwood canyon (as in recently i mean last night) front end is all messed up so if any of you guys know a good repair shop/ place to get replacements parts easily i'd appreciate the info! e-mail me at [email protected]
Hope you're okay, man..I had a little get-off myself last week and am in the repair process :-\ This site is a good place for cheap parts if you keep you eyes on the For Sale section, as well as like www.bikebandit.com and a few sites like that. Good luck man.

Sorry to hear it. Hopefully things will work out!
Hey guys, sorry i havent been up for anything this year, hell now im reroofing my house... either way, give me a call when you get the bike back up mike, im down for a ride , hopefully i will have time when you guys go
progress is slow. Money is slim... trying to sell off some stuff so i can get the parts $.
hopefully i can get a couple rides in before it gets to cold. would love to do fairview canyon or payson canyon again this year.
Would love to ride here...might happen as Masters school is preferred in Colorado then here
maybe i will ride out the to meet benny and ignore him in person
hey sorry my incident was just an extremely poorly timed pass on a jeep up Big cottonwood and suddenly a left turn materialized out of the dark and in the dirt i went! shattered the headlight and left side plastics (the whole front plastic is gone to). so instead of spending $600 on a new front plastic/headlight im just goin street fighter style with a single round 7" headlight from aztec8.com and an acewell 2700 series speedo

I live in Alpine UT (Northern Utah county) and would love to do so me rides Sundays, as long as the ice and snow holds off. [email protected]

Thanks,

Steve Koski
I didn't know you were in Alpine, Steve, I work just up the 15 in Draper...in fact I'm there now overnight. Wish I hadn't wadded myself up in August, I figured with the cold weather a couple weeks ago the season was over so I didn't source a new wheel...now it's 70 and sunny. Oh well.

I'll hit you up in the spring for sure, we should do some canyoning with Mike. Wish I'd gotten out with him more last summer.
I wish i was able to even get out. The loss of the job and the need of new sprockets and chain forced me to park the bike till i could get the parts.
I have them now but with no chain rivet tool i am still stuck without my bike. South valley motorsports wants $140 for install. Crazy!!
So until i get the $100 for a good rivet tool i am stuck.

If i can get it before the sow hits i will ride.
Really want to get nebo loop or fairview canyon another go this year.
