Hey guys and gals,

A guy has offered me a set of stock pipes sans the crossover tube. It has been removed, and the holes plated over, why I don't know. Is it ok to run the engine without? I can't exactly see it being to good, But on the other hand, It shouldn't matter too much. Just looking for info from someone with experience.

It will cost you some power, but it shouldn't hurt your engine.

I think that all the crossover does is balance out the alternating exhaust pulses between the two pipes. So you'll have a little more backpressure I think since the exhaust pipe area does not double at that point anymore. Post up your results if you're doing it. I'm interested to find out how it compares.

Money would be better than an eFood-pellet though... that might get me to try a little harder.
Then it wouldn't be developing conditional responses, would it?
Also we have to insert a tube in you to see if you react similarly if a fake subject(question) is introduced ;D
Cheers!
