I've begun noticing a slight clicking sound that matches the speed of my rear wheel when my '05 ex500 is not putting power to the wheel. In other words, when coasting to a stop or with the bike on the center stand and I spin the rear wheel.

It seems to be coming from the rear of the engine - like the tranny area.

Any ideas of what it could be or if I need be concerned?

thanks in advance for your advice!

Probably just a little slop in the cush drive. You could shim it out if you want to take off the rear wheel. Or don't worry about it.

I dunno, he hasn’t updated it in 15 YEARS! Gonna have to guess no. 😁
