So I was checking the spark plug connectors to see if there were loose and my right ended up feeling funny. Once I took it off this happened...
It ain't broken right? It looks like It can get screwed back in, but it's impossible with the gas tank on lol.

What is that little screw next to the right side of the plug?

It's a spring which came from the boot after I took it off

hi the small circlip that holds all that stuff inside the cap has broken. new cap required now I'm afraid. so get a new one tank off and replace it.

So the internal pieces just ended up being loose, but I'm unable to connect the spark plug. The boot looks to be all in order, but the connection port for the spark plug looks off...

yes inside the cap is a screw fitting (to connect the HT lead to) a spring sits on that then the brass plug connector (the bit left on the plug first photo) all held in place by a tiny circlip. without this clip there is nothing to hold all the pieces together. you need a new one.

You dont need to buy the kawasaki brand one either. I got two ngk replacements for $9 a while back and they run fine. Only difference is about 1/8 or 1/4 inch. (3-6 mm)
