Hello all - As you can see from the pics I've got some dents that I'm debating on weather or not to try and "fix". I got a great deal on this 09 with 1,100 miles on it due to the dents but now they are tempting me to improve/mask. I watched a you tube video of a guy using bondo for this sort of thing but I just wonder if it is worth it. My thought is to sand only the top portion of the tank with dents then maybe fill the areas with bondo and finally paint the top of the tank a flat black using Duracoat (very tough firearm paint). Finish off the look with some silver pin striping to cover the black blue paint transition. I just don't want to go through the effort to have the bondo crack underneath it etc. I've never used bondo so I'm throwing this out to you all for opinions. Satisfy my itch to try and improve the tank's appearance or just try and live with these dents? Anyone done something similar to hide dents? The tank bag was my first hope btw.... but it does not really cover the dent areas.
