Im going to try and fix a squeak thats coming from under the tank (pretty sure its the tank itself thats loose). Bout what kinda time commitment am i looking at and whats involved in removing it or at least whats the easiest way to tighten it down?
Removing the tank is not hard at all. Won't take more than 10 minutes. Take the upper fairing bolts off near the front lower tank, take the seat off, you'll find a bolt that holds the tank, remove that, unplug your fuel lines and your tank is off. You have rubber boots up front of the tank. Check that, that might be were your squeaking is coming from. Good luck.
