hey man, yea i will post some pics for u tomorrow of what mine looks like, my left side only sticks out a little bit more than the right, but not by alot, i corrected this by adding a type of one sided sticky foam, that my dad had lying arounf to the cover on the right side and made that one match them up pretty well, i will try to take some pics to illustrate this a little better, but basically attach sumthing to the engine cover or crankcase cover to make the other side even with the left.....

yea there is more space on the left, but you really only notice it when you look down at it, from the front it looks good, but like i said you gotta add sumthin to the right side, to make it stick out just a little bit more

and do i like it?....yes and no....i love how it gives the bike a sporty look....but i also like the look of a street fighter(which i may turn this bike into) and it is a pain to take off to work on it....but seems i keep putting it back on i must like it....so there, mine is in rough shape, cracked in a few places, but o well, atleast i know i will be stepping up when i get a new bike

I had a targa front on for a long.. about 10 years or so. the only thing I didnt like about it was having to take it off for whatever reason.. was a serious pain. maybe the mounting system is better now with newer models?
But, I liked it, I felt it made the bike handle better and look better too.

I tried emailing targa for some information, with no response. Do you have to buy the whole fairing kit to close the gap between the upper and lower or can you buy just a kit for the center pieces? I see wedge makes the center peices. Is there a reason why you did not just use them over a complete new fairing kit?
Thanks

Pyramid Plastics makes mid panels too. Google their US distributor if you are interested as they are imported from the UK (I think). At the time I wanted mid panels they didn't have them in stock but I got an email from them a few weeks ago saying they had them now. I have some from Wedge and felt he did a really good job on them. My only reason for not buying a Targa fairing was cost.

2x on more info on wedge..

As far as you people not liking the way your fairing sticks out, i'll take it off your hands :) ;D

Is the targa made of fiberglass? Is it flexible? Does it get spiderweb cracks and so forth?
