Received this morning, done, ready for shipment back already.

Today doing a set of 250 carbs with frozen in place choke plungers. Finally removed with the aid of PB blaster, now in the ultrasonic. Pics to follow.

Choke plungers restored, working fine. All other circuits/floats functioning, wet tested perfect. A controlled blast of compressed air confirms perfect slide action.

1st 500 set of '22 completed yesterday

a set o' nasty too fitties completed today and a 500 in da' house for valve clearance and carb services.

There’s this stuff:

Aviation grade corrosion inhibitor. Goes on wet, dries to a waxy like coating. NOT cheap. $28 a can from Grainger. A bit less at an aviation supply place like Aircraft Spruce though. $17 a can there:

A set of Ducati/Mikuni's here for the full boat resto. I'll document progress here.

Now split and fully disassembled, found all the usual....hardened, stuck orings everywhere, nasty insides, way overtightened screws on bowls and tops, ovaled needle jets (unique to Ducati). Small parts in ultrasonic right now, getting a jump ahead.

Owner advises bike (Ducati 900SS/FE) has sat since 2001, wowsers. And he has authorized install of brand new Y-4 needle jets (which I stock specifically for these situations)
