Hello Falcom.
There are several discussions on tires in this very forum.
Just dig through them or use the "search" function in the upper right of this window.
(I was stationed at RAF Upper Heyford, north of Oxford, in the 70's. F-111e)

i raced in the rain on michelin pilot power street tires.
Great traction in the wet, relatively speaking.

Correct. However, the Michelin Pilot Power DOES come in a 150/60R17 size, which does fit the 94+ Models.

no, no danger in fitting the 150.
every ex500 race bike has a 150 and we push the bikes to their limits.
