fuel line is 5/16" or a metric size(might be a FOG answer)i think a seperate new thread should be started on this. many peeps use different styles/sizes. i'm using a 1/4"pancake style non seethru filter.all that is inside is a small piece of mesh to block trash but maintain max flow. (hard to find a 5/16"filter that was compact)i plan on going with a 150 next year. same style nonsethru(i don't care to try to look at something that's nestled in between my carbs .i'll replace once a year)their are many different types of filter mediums like paper, bronze, mesh and even foam. i prefer the mesh/screen type for max flow. here is a link for the 150's free shipping too

don't forget to keep a spare piece of fuel line with ya. in case your filter clogs and strands ya
i've wondered if "necking down from 5/16 to 1/4 on filter inlet/outlet would affect performance but it runs fine

i saw that ya said hoses its really hose. puta filter on the larger hose. the smaller line (1/4")is a vacuum line that hooks to left carb

well stevo i just got my bike back on the road. i did the pop mod and to a point it works but under hard acceleration if if ya close the throttle it will still pop to a certain degree. i assume this is unburned fuel igniting in the header pipe?anyways i might change it back. to pop or not pop that is the question. i'll take the pop!!!
