I was looking at images of the EX today and came across this gem. They claim a trike, but unless my backwoods schooling failed me, there are 4 wheels. I went to the website for the kit and no other images of the 500 are there, but you can still call and order your kit! I'm curious if this would remove the requirement for the motorcycle endorsement. I personally prefer the Franken-bike with the front end of an ATV for the 3 wheeled version of the 500.

More like an MC with training wheels, than a quad or trike.

it would not be allowed on UK/EU roads. it's a motorcycle with two outriggers. it's not a bike (two wheels) it's not a trike (3wheels) it's not a quad (2 steering wheels) outriggers (none functional extra wheels) were banned in 2008.
to stop learners (provisional licence holders) riding bikes bigger than their licences allowed. and to stop the practice of adding a outrigger to a huge machine calling it a trike and riding it.
