If you've got some Velcro trying to free it's self from your gear, like the Velcro on my overpants liner, I've got the perfect fix. I went to Jo Ann Fabric, unaccompanied by a female no less, in search of a fabric adhesive. I didn't want to sew the partially detached Velcro back on partially because I don't have access to a sewing machine and also to avoid putting more holes in what have been excellent pants in the rain. I read the 1.5 million different fabric adhesives that are available and decided on Elmer's Craft Bond. This stuff reattached the Velcro very well. It has no solvents, is non flammable, cleans easily, is paintable, flexible, impact resistant and dishwasher safe. So if you've got to make some gear repairs, check it out. 8)
