Did my 3rd and final oil change for the year. I had to get a 4 liter container, as the 6 pack singles deal is "not available". You can get singles at a higher price , but yet the 6 pack deal is "not available". The 4 liter containers are not convenient, harder to pour, I spilled some.

do you do oil changes by mileage or by time? I do mine by time, a year and I dump the oil regardless of mileage. Peace

^ I do my oil changes by mileage, every 2000 miles. Old oil looks caramel color, I think waiting for it to turn black is unacceptable.

Sold it? Why?
First of all I didn't prolong my registration at the summer because of 2 reasons:
  • In my country you need to pay registration, MOT like thing+taxes+insurance every year. Around 200$ for my bike which worth 1300$
  • Gasoline at the summer broke my tolerance limit cuz goverment taxes so I refused to ride it and finance the goverment here so I didn't ride it.

Next, me and my gf decided to move in Switzerland, she is there now I will be soon I hope just some more things to settle...
I will use this money to buy engagement ring and for the plane ticket etc...

Hope there will be many motorcycles and good roads in the future.

thanks for your explanation, Toni. Between moving and life changes, the sale was certainly understandable. Please stay aboard here, keep us in the loop. Going forward, hopefully all works out and, eventually.... a nice, shiny red Ducati in your future!

Replacing my rear rotor with a used one. Can I buy a new after market rotor to any detriment? If you recall, my last used rotor was warped too much. View attachment 57701
Some place in California is selling aftermarket rotors for a decent price, less than $60 free shipping. They're on ebay.

very thoughtful. At this point I’ll hold out hope for the one I just installed. It doesn’t drag occasionally like the old one (just spinning the rear wheel while on jack stands). I will probably just go new-aftermarket if this one is too out of shape.
I have a stock oem rear rotor floating around in my garage, I can send it to you if you pay for postage.
