An HJC SY-Max modular. It fits well. I like the flip-up for talking at lights or going in to pay for gas.
It might be a bit noisy, but I think the real noise-producer is our beloved EX500s. Not the exhaust or engine but the size and shape of the fairing dumping wind-blast right at your face. I've ridden naked bikes and been amazed at how quiet my helmet becomes.

KBC airborne '05 edition.been riding in it for say 10 months now, good helmet overall for 2 bills,SNELL and DOT,i could use new padding tho.

I got an MR2 ($55). I actually prefer it over my dads exo-700. The aerodynamics allow me to turn my head without a lot of wind resistance. As for helmet noise, I wear earplugs anyways, so that doesn't bother me. The only issue with this helmet is that it fogs up in the city, but once I'm actually going it's fine. The visor is great, no noticeable distortion, its never opened up on me. I know it's a cheap helmet, and only DOT certified, but I really like it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a "starter" helmet.
Arai Quantum. Very comfortable and lightweight. Paid $299 for it online. Bought my girlfriend a Shoei X11 ($529 online... ouch!), and we've only been riding together a handful of times. I need a cruiser for the both of us, and the sport bike for me!

What earplugs do you use?
The multi-use plugs w/ 3-4 disk/flaps, or the foamies?
Walgreens lists a variety of plugs online that they carry at their stores.
Example- 50 pairs of foamies for $10
Reminder... since the members probably have a variety of noggin shapes, jawlines & neck curves...
what ever helmet works for one member may be awful for another.

Comfort is a must, & view outside, as is good-excellent protection- which includes that the strapped-on helmet not be forceably removable from the head. DIiferent shaped heads need different shaped/padded helmets, eh?

I got a Shoei RF-1000 now with a mirrored visor ;D
Agv Airtech with tribal red pattern and mirrored visor a very comfy helmt
I am wearing HJC SY-MAX (flip-up). I'm tinking to get another (quieter helmet).
I wear a shoei X11, got it for 350$

It's a nice helmet, my favorite part is the lightweight, feels like you're not even wearing one.

The only thing I dislike about this helmet is the noise but I wear ear plugs so that helps it out.

KBC VR-2, flat black. Awesome helmet, and a good deal too. It fits my dome really well, but everyone is different.
I've also got a Scorpion Ex-700... and love it, but haven't owned any others to be able to really compare it to.
Scorpion EX-700. DOT/Snell, and fit me the best of the 6-8 brands I tried.
HJC CL-SP nice fit on me, but the noise... wear earplugs though and they help lessen the noise.

With a smoked face shield.
