Alright I must be a tard ::)

For the life of me I can't seem to locate the idle adjustment. Its usually a screw or a knob by the carbs but I can't seem to locate it. Even looked around with a flashlight. Its definitely not where it should be according to the manual on page 89.

Also what is the proper idle speed? I know the manual says 1,150 to 1,250 rpm's. Mine is at that rpm at first but after riding for a while it idles at 1,500 to 1,600 rpm's. It seems likely if I turn it down it might not stay running for the first 15 or 20 minutes.

Alright I guess being a guy I have a hard time finding things even when its in front of my face. After putting the bike up on the center stand and getting on my knees and look down I see the idle adjustment knob. Its hidden pretty far under the carbs on this bike.

Is the choke going full off?
Is the choke cable kinked or loose anywhere? ???

(I haven't ever looked over all the choke stuff on our bike so don't know if those are real possibilities. But when I write things like that it generally trigger's FOG's vendictive "Teach-the-teacher" side, and I/we get some schooling.)
