Hey guys, I used to post over on the other site and made it over here.

Which short stalk turn signals are a direct replacement for stock? I know I have to get the filler plates, but all the signals I see are two wire and our fronts are three wire. Post a link of the ones you have/like.

For my blinkers, I had to cut off the stock adaptor (four wires), and splice the black wire 1->2, then you plug one black into each blinker, then you have to find whatever wire will activate the blinker for that side. My '97 is equiped with running lights (I think), and that was the ?Red? wire, so I just left that one off. Also, the sandwich type filler plates fit perfectly in our stock holes.

Proton makes three wire light. they aren't short stalks (or stalks at all, they're flush mount).

Anyone ever put flush mount signals at the pointy front corners of the fairing?

If not... any ideas come to mind?

I just used a two wire light and ditched the running light.

While we are on topic...

I really like the look of the integrated front blinkers on the mirrors. Anyone done a mod to incorporate blinkers on the side view mirrors? That would be a killer mod!

Do you think you could cut up the stock mirrors and put some generic flush mounts on it? I think I might try that. But what would you do with the hole in the fairing? That would look silly.

i got some LP universal flush mounts, put em in the stock position. looks great IMO. and only about 15 bucks IIRC.
