Hey guys can someone please tell me which way my vortex sprocket should face? Top is the new sprocket with logo out, middle is original sprocket, and bottom is the new sprocket with the lip facing out. Just not 100% sure on this, thanks

I am pretty sure that your bottom picture is on backwards as when you bolt on the locking ring it will not sit flush against it.

It looks like the hold down plate won't properly attach to the sprocket in pic 3.

remove original, lay it in original direction on flat surface....compare with new comparing heights in both directions....should become obvious

Thanks all for the replies. So that considered, I should use pic 3? Since they're the same on the side whith no logo, but on the Sunstar/Vortex side they both have a lip, it's just that the Sunstar has a lip that meets up with the sprocket holding plate bolts, and the vortex sprocket doesn't. I don't know if this matters but my chain has been making a whirring sound since I installed it and I'm trying to get my alignment right and stop this sound.

The chain can make a whirring sound if it is a little too tight. Especially on deceleration.
