It was down then working and now down again. just wondering if I am the only one experiencing this issue. I'm a newish EX500 owner and was relying on the wiki to do my major tune-up and winter storage. I know I can find all the info I need on the forums but it was very convenient to have all the info located in one place.

Its been inop quite a while now... we've recently been advised its no longer supported by VerticalScope (the site owner) or the creator of the software...whomever...its DONE.

The mod squad is working out details with VerticalScope to modify, streamline and convert utilizing the HOW TO section in lieu of the wiki. Its gonna be a long term fix requiring a TON of work.

In the meantime, fire away with questions, there are salivating, antsy members who will help (some retired old guys, too) ;D

Alternately...you can use the existing HOW TO or ADVANCED SEARCH on your dashboard.

We are sorely aware of the problem posed, the wiki was good stuff, a HUGE loss. Sorry, but improvements will occur, just gonna take time.

OK thanks. I was just wondering as the wiki was up for me a couple weeks ago but for the last week I just keep getting an error when trying to access it.

Has any thought been given to a free wiki hosting site? Can we get a DL of the original wiki?
When the forum software was changed over to different software, integration with the wiki was lost. We can't even access it anymore. We can only view snapshots of it in the Internet Archives. The admin team says they can't do anything about it and no one else has come up with a solution.

The time to save it in accessible form would have been before the software change. We're planning to import the information from the archives the old fashioned way, cut and paste into dedicated forum sections on site here. It's doable, just a big undertaking.

So its RIP right? No way we are going to get the infos back again?
Sorry, I missed this post. The wiki is dead forever. It exists only on Internet archives. I created a new forum section to house the info from the wiki. It's just a massive job trying to bring all that info in, the volunteer outreach failed, and it's looking doubtful for ducatiman and I to do it ourselves.

Well, maybe not forever. Just saw this and decided to start this: https://ex500.fandom.com/wiki/EX500_Wiki (the fandom wikis aren't super great, especially not for this application but they're easy).

Don't know where it'll go or if it's even necessary, and I don't know how much work you two have already done. Unless someone wants to help out and just go through and create the pages, it'll just be a personal project and an excuse to read through the entire wiki, and I'll just work on it when i'm bored (which to be fair, for a possibly-ADHD-ridden college student, is very often). Yeah, I could contribute to the forum section, and I can if you so desire, but imo a wiki just looks nicer lol

Sometime when the problem of the wiki of the page arose I suggested that it could be recreated in these fandom pages. The general response was that, as they are more oriented to video games and anime, it did not seem viable. Anyway, I wish you success in this project.

If I can contribute something, this flowchart seems to me that it should go in the electrical section.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of the platform for this; that's why i'm considering it more of a"personal project". That, and a lot of the pages don't seem to be archived, so there's a lot of missing info anyway. Appreciate it!
