If you are interested in contributing to the Wikis listed below are some of the tasks that need to be completed.

* hyper link tasks in Wiki maintenance schedule to relevant Wiki articles, remove old links to threads
* improve image formatting on many articles. Replace [[image]] tag without attributes with [[image]] tags with attributes. For instance add frame and caption attributes as well as size and position attributes (right) and text alignment attributes (text-top).
* fix grammar and spelling (ongoing)
* fix technical errors (ongoing) - if you spot a technical error please email me with as much info as possible if you choose not to correct it yourself
* combine multiple carb synching Wikis - only one is required per site

I'm noticing too that some of the images on the wiki aren't hosted here, but are at TinyPic or similar. That leaves us vulnerably to just losing the image if the host decides to nix it for whatever reason. Also we can't so easily format/frame/caption offsite pics. Provided it was posted here by the owner, and it's on a general host rather than someone's personal site, is there a problem with just uploading it to the Wiki so that it can be more stable within the article?

Good point. Any images in the Wiki should be uploaded to the Wiki - as long as they do not violate copy write laws. If they are from another site the original source, author or owner should be noted in the image.

I'll go poke around on image-hosting issues.

Also, just to get a second eyes-on for a technical issue, can someone else glance at my new article [http://www.ex-500.com/wiki/index.php?title=Hose_diameters Hose diameters] and see if there are any glaring errors? I'm still missing the diameters for the PAIR and for the coolant overflow, though for the latter I can go check those this weekend, but since my PAIR appears to be removed I don't know what to put for those.

Also, can anyone advise as to whether we need to find the diameters for the hoses coming off the air cleaner, or are these specialized enough that folks should just spend the $30 to buy OEM parts? Here's the items and the fiche:

FICHE: http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Kawasaki/Motorcycle/2009/EX500D9F+Ninja+500R/AIR+CLEANER/parts.html

92059 92059-1043
TUBE,4X9X290
$5.93 $3.63 1

92059B 92059-1770
TUBE,AIR FILTER-ACV
$8.86 $6.02 1

92059C 92059-1771
TUBE,AIR SWITCH,LH
$14.22 $9.67 1

92059D 92059-1772
TUBE,AIR SWITCH,RH
$14.22 $9.67 1

92059E 92059-1773
TUBE,BREATHER
$7.14 $4.86

Is it just me that thinks having all the hose diameters in one place is useful? I've had a real hassle having to clip bits of hose and take them to the shop to squint at measurements to figure out what I need, so I was kind of surprised we didn't have this in the wiki or even in past discussions, other than "just take the old hoses to the shop and measure what you need".
