ex650 motor swap

i have researched for a while about a possible motor swap for the ex500 motor and the ex650 motor seems to be the best candidate for the job, i know it will be a hassle with the fuel injection and all, but i want to know if anybody has ever attempted this, or if anybody has put the two side by side and measured if they will fit (with or without fabrication of new mounts) or if the 650 motor is alot wider than the 500

yes it would be easier to just buy another bike, and i dont care how much money it will take, i want to put a 650 motor on my 500 just so that i can prove to people on this site that just because it has not been done does not mean it is not possible, i have been keeping up with a project on this site about a guy who said he wanted to put nitrous on his ex500, alot of people told him not to and said it was a dumb idea, then he finished it and it ran alot faster on the strip. i just want to show people that the (fog) mod is not the only thing you can do to an ex 500. has anybody put the two side by side?

ok guys, im gonna do a lil more research on this and try to find a reasonably priced motor, thanks for all the help and hopefull i will have pics of the finished product within the next couple of months.
