I bought a new battery from Ebay. When I went to install it, the bolts from the original battery were too small. Without any more thought put into it, I went to Home Depot and bought two different size bolts both a little bigger. When I went to try again, I noticed that the terminals had no "receiving" threads for the bolts. Ok, back to the store to buy the nuts. I marked by pen the approximate width of the inside area of the terminals (I only did this as I'm in the process of moving and cant find a tape measure). Back home with a few different size bolts, FML, they are all too big. They dont fit in the inside area of the terminal. Now I know the simple answer is to go smaller. But this hardware is supposed to secure the wires to the terminal, is there a "too small" bolt? Will this affect the intergity of the charge being delivered?
I did contact the seller and asked what size I needed, he said "the parts should be there" Well, first off thats not what I asked, and second, no they are not there.
Does anyone have this king of terminal? What did you use? Thanks for any input!
